Easy Cheesy Omelette

This easy omelette can be whipped up in 10 minutes, perfect for when you’re on the go.

Ingredients

Free range eggs
2
Cream cheese
30 g
Mild Arla® LactoFREE Cheddar
30 g
Fresh herbs
2 tbsp
20 ml
Salt
1 pinch
Black pepper
1 pinch

Instructions

Step 1

  • Beat the eggs in a bowl with the grated mild cheddar, half of the fresh herbs, any vegetables you’re adding and some salt and pepper.

Step 2

  • Mix the cream cheese with the remaining herbs and set aside.

Step 3

  • Heat a frying pan over a fairly high heat and add a little oil. When hot, pour the egg mixture into the pan.

Step 4

  • Move the pan around to evenly distribute the egg mixture and allow to cook for a couple of minutes. Continue to move around the pan, lifting the edges with a spatula so any runny egg flows down onto the pan, until there’s no runny egg left.

Step 5

  • Remove the pan from the heat, spoon the cream cheese down the centre, add ham or smoked salmon if you wish, and fold the omelette over to serve.
