Chanterelles with Creamy Egg

A soft oven-baked egg cream with fried chanterelles is an excellent way to start the Kräftfesten (Crayfish Party)!

Ingredients

Fresh chanterelles
200 g
Dill

Creamy Egg

Eggs
4
Semi-skimmed milk
250 ml
Whipped cream
150 ml
Reduced Fat Grated Arla® LactoFREE Cheddar
160 g
Chopped Fresh dill
2 tbsp
Salt
tsp
Black pepper
1 pinch

Instructions

Step 1

  • Heat the oven to 150 °.

Step 2

  • Beat the eggs lightly in a bowl. Boil milk and cream and pour it into the eggs during whipping. Mix in the cheese and dill, salt and pepper.

Step 3

  • Pour into a greased ovenproof dish about 15 x 20 cm and bake in the middle of the oven for about 35 minutes.

Step 4

  • Let it cool a little before cutting into portions. Cut the chanterelles and fry in butter, season with salt and pepper. Garnish with dill.
