Chocolate Boxes on Coconut Base

Delicious chocolate slices on a succulent base of almond paste and coconut, topped with an airy chocolate cover. Best served cut into big pieces.

Ingredients

Almonds Paste
200 g
Egg whites
2
Coconuts
100 g
Ground ground cinnamon
1 tsp
Milk chocolate
200 g
Dark chocolate
50 g
Whipped cream
200 ml
Egg yolks

Instructions

Step 1

  • Heat the oven to 200 °.

Step 2

  • Grate the almond paste and stir in egg whites, coconut and cinnamon.

Step 3

  • Add baking paper to the bottom of a baking tin sized about 23 x 23 cm.

Step 4

  • Spread the mixture into the tin. Bake in the middle of the oven for about 10 minutes. Let it cool. Melt the chocolate in the microwave or over a water bath.

Step 5

  • Beat the cream. Beat the egg yolks into the chocolate and stir in the cream to make a smooth batter.

Step 6

  • Spread the chocolate mixture in the tin and cover with clingfilm. Put somewhere cold to set for at least 5 hours, preferably overnight. Cut squares. Garnish with chocolate and sprinkles."
