Milk Chocolate Mousse

Ingredients: 3 pear; 2 tbsp caster sugar; 1 tbsp butter; 200 ml whipped cream; 100 g milk chocolate; 2 egg yolks; 1 tbsp cognac

A mousse made with Swedish milk chocolate, a delicious treat with butter-roasted pear slices.

Ingredients

Pear	3
Caster sugar	2 tbsp
Butter	1 tbsp
Whipped cream	200 ml
Milk chocolate	100 g
Egg yolks	2
Cognac	1 tbsp

Instructions

Step 1

Peel the pears and cut them into slices. Sprinkle with sugar.

Step 2

Fry them gently in butter in a frying pan on low heat. Let the pears cool and put them in serving bowls.

Step 3

Beat the cream until it forms stiff peaks.

Step 4

Break the chocolate into pieces and melt over a water bath or in the microwave; stir until it melts. Milk chocolate quickly melts.

Step 5

Whisk the egg yolks in a bowl. Add the chocolate, stirring vigorously. Then stir in some of the cream and then the rest.

Step 6

Possibly flavour with cognac. Dollop the mousse on top of the pears.

Step 7

Leave the mousse in the fridge for an hour before serving.
