Mushroom Tart

A classic mushroom tart. Serve it for lunch or dinner with a salad.

Ingredients

Dough

Cold butter
100 g
Wheat flour
150 g
Grated cheese
50 g
Coarse salt

Instructions

Step 1

  • Cut the butter into smaller pieces and crumble it into the flour. Add cheese and salt and quickly combine.

Step 2

  • Press the dough into a greased tart tin (approximately 22 cm in diameter). Make sure the dough is halfway up the sides of the tin.

Step 3

  • Cover, and place in the refrigerator for at least ½ hour or until the next day. Prick the dough bottom and bake for 12 minutes at 200 ° in the middle of the oven.

Step 4

  • Melt the butter in a pan. Add curry powder and let it simmer. Add the onions for approximately 1 minute. Add the mushrooms and cook until all the water is gone, for approximately 6 minutes.

Step 5

  • Pour the filling into the pre-cooked pastry. Beat the eggs and milk together and add the other ingredients.

Step 6

  • Pour the egg mixture over the vegetables and cook the tart in the middle of the oven and bake for 40 minutes at 200 °.

Step 7

  • Serve the pie warm with a green mixed salad.
