50 ml
Handful ice cubes

Instructions

  • Turn off the blender and blend again for about 15 seconds or until the ice is crushed.
  • Pour the smoothie into a tall, cold glass and garnish with fresh raspberries. Serve immediately.
Enjoy!

Storing

To store the raspberry smoothie, you can pour it into an airtight container or a glass with a lid on top and keep it in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. However, keep in mind that the longer you store it, the more its colour, flavour, and texture may change. It may also separate and become less appealing to drink. To prevent this, give it a quick stir or blend before serving.

Blending

Blend the smoothie for at least 30 seconds total or until it reaches your desired consistency. You may need to blend longer if using a less powerful blender. If you find the raspberry seeds bothersome, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve before serving.

How to make a raspberry smoothie?

Add all ingredients to a blender for about 15 seconds at the highest speed, turn off the blender, and blend again until the ice is fully crushed. Then, pour the smoothie into a tall, cold glass, and garnish with fresh raspberries. Serve immediately for the best taste and texture.

What to put in a raspberry smoothie?

Raspberry smoothies can be made with a myriad of ingredients, but we opted for a simple mix of ice cubes, frozen raspberries, honey, peach syrup, skimmed milk, and natural skyr. The frozen raspberries add a refreshing tartness, while honey and peach syrup provide natural sweetness. Finally, the combination of milk and skyr provides the smoothie with a thick and creamy texture that will delight your taste buds.

How to get rid of raspberry seeds in smoothies?

Raspberry seeds can be tough to remove entirely, but there are a few methods that can help reduce their presence in smoothies. One option is to strain the smoothie through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth after blending. This can help remove most of the seeds, leaving a smoother texture. Another option is to blend for longer, which can help break down the seeds into smaller pieces that are less noticeable. You can also try using a high-powered blender or a food processor, which can help pulverise the seeds more effectively.
