Soft Gingerbread

Ingredients: 100 g butter; 150 ml sour cream; 2 eggs; 160 g caster sugar; 1½ tsp ground ginger; 1½ tsp ground cloves; 2 tsp ground cinnamon; 180 g wheat flour; 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda

A simple soft gingerbread with wonderful scents of ginger, cinnamon and cloves that fills the kitchen with Christmas atmosphere.

Ingredients

Butter	100 g
Sour cream	150 ml
Eggs	2
Caster sugar	160 g
Ground ginger	1½ tsp
Ground cloves	1½ tsp
Ground cinnamon	2 tsp
Wheat flour	180 g
Bicarbonate of soda	1 tsp

Instructions

Step 1

Heat the oven to 175 °.

Step 2

Melt the butter, pour in the sour cream and allow to cool.

Step 3

Beat eggs and sugar until light and fluffy. Stir the butter mixture into the egg mixture. Mix the dry ingredients and stir them into the mixture.

Step 4

Pour the mixture into a greased and baking dish/tin. Bake on the lower part of the oven about 45 minutes. Let cool.
