Stewed Cabbage

Name: Stewed Cabbage
Yield: 4 servings
Ingredients: 2 cabbages in Smaller Pieces; 150 ml water; 600 ml whole milk; 25 g Soft butter; 2½ tbsp wheat flour; 1 tbsp Chopped Fresh fresh parsley; 1 tsp sea salt; 1 pinch Freshly pepper; 100 g Cured meat; 1 kilo potatoes (or 200 g of bread)

Stewed cabbage is a delicious and tasty addition to any main course.

Ingredients

Cabbages in Smaller Pieces	2
Water	150 ml
Whole milk	600 ml
Soft butter	25 g
Wheat flour	2½ tbsp
Chopped Fresh fresh parsley	1 tbsp
Sea salt	1 tsp
Freshly pepper	1 pinch
Cured meat	100 g
Potatoes (or 200 g of bread)	1 kilo

Instructions

Step 1

Place the cabbage in boiling water in a pan. Boil covered with a lid at a low heat for about 5 minutes. Add the milk and bring to the boil.

Step 2

Stir butter and flour together with a fork. Pour the mixture into the pan and boil the stew at low heat without lid for approximately 5 minutes Add parsley and season with salt and pepper.
