Mint dressing

White cheese cubes in brine 3%
100 g
Sour cream, 5%
250 ml
Chopped fresh mint leaves
3 tbsp
Finely chopped chives
2 tbsp

White bean salad

White beans, for example, cannellini beans
1 can
Small, diced avocados (approx. 200 g)

Small diced plum tomatoes
300 g
Slim cucumber cut into small cubes (approx. 250 g)

Finely chopped chives
100 ml
Freshly squeezed lime juice
2 tsp
Coarse salt
¾ tsp
Flatbread

Iceberg lettuce torn into fine pieces

Instructions

  • Mash the salad cheese finely with a fork. Mix cheese, fraiche, mint, and chives. Place the mint dressing, covered, in the fridge for at least 15 minutes – season to taste.
  • Rinse the white beans and let them drain in a sieve. Carefully toss the beans together with avocado, tomato, cucumber, chives, lime juice, and salt.
  • Grill the 4 flatbreads at the top of the oven for about 10 seconds until they become soft. Toss the iceberg lettuce with the bean filling and spread it on the flatbreads. Put some mint dressing on top and serve the rest on the side – tie a string around the flatbreads if necessary. Eat your Turkish wrap immediately!

Tips

It is not necessary to grill the bread though it does make them soft and easier to work with. Tie your Turkish wrap with a string or wrap it with foil to keep the filling inside and to not make a mess when eating the wrap.
